Farmer-florist Amy St. John will teach participants how to create a garden-inspired floral arrangement using local blooms grown at Almanac Flower Co. August blooms will include lots of dahlias! You’ll learn the basics of how to clean and care for floral ingredients and how to select elements for floral design. Amy will guide you though the steps to designing a beautiful and sustainable floral arrangement.
This workshop will be a laid-back learning experience that allows participants to unwind and explore their creativity in the inclusive, welcoming Storm Stayed Brewery. One drink of your choice is included in the ticket price. At the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a locally grown floral arrangement and new confidence in your artistic skills.
