About Almanac Flower Co.
Almanac Flower Co. is a community-minded micro flower farm based in London, Ontario, run by farmer-florist Amy St. John.
I feature the ever-changing nature of flowers through seasonal and sustainable blooms, based on the yearly calendar (or Almanac!). I love to have my hands in the dirt and to capture flowers at all of their life stages. I focus on ecological growing practices and celebrating the beauty and magic in locally grown flowers.
Almanac sells fresh flowers from April-October, and shifts to pressed and dried florals for the winter months
FAQs

I sell primarily at markets and pop-up events. Follow me on social media to find out where I’ll be. From April-September fresh floral options will be listed on the website.

I do not do full service weddings. If you are looking for bouquets and other small items using locally grown blooms, and are flexible about colour palettes and flower types, feel free to reach out by email or message me on Instagram to chat about options.
-
When you choose locally grown blooms you are getting flowers harvested at their peak, no more than a day or two before they are in your hands. Vase life varies greatly depending on the flower type and can depend on a number of factors including, but not limited to: light, heat, and how often water is changed. Change your water every few days and keep cut flowers cool and out of direct light for longest vase life.

If you have something in mind, feel free to reach out. I might be able to put together pieces with certain colours or flower types. I do not do wedding bouquet preservation at this time.
